Dr. Desislava Dinova, DMD

Dr. Desislava Dinova is a licensed general dentist with over two decades of clinical and teaching experience, specializing in mobile dentistry and locum tenens (fill-in) dental services. She is known throughout the greater Pittsburgh area for her gentle, preventive-care approach and for bringing high-quality treatment directly to where it's needed most—whether in care facilities or private dental practices.

Originally from Bulgaria, Dr. Dinova graduated as valedictorian from the School of Dental Medicine at Medical University Sofia in 1997. She later earned an advanced degree in Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics, and spent nine years teaching dental students and treating patients in private practice.

After relocating to the United States, Dr. Dinova graduated Summa Cum Laude from Temple University School of Dentistry. Since 2008, she has focused her career exclusively on on-site care and temporary dental coverage for dental offices in need of support.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Dinova is a part-time instructor and clinical supervisor at the Center for Patients with Special Needs (CPSN) at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, and she  regularly volunteers at free dental clinics in the region.
